Vanuit de nood aan meer dansplekken dan onze eigen gordijnige woonkamers, staken we de koppen (en de benen) bij elkaar. Wat we niet vinden, kunnen we zelf maken, toch?
Danse Danse wil iedereen de mogelijkheid geven om te dansen alsof het diens eigen verjaardagsfeest is. Een gezellige plek waar je op een schappelijk uur voluit kan dansen op de door jou meegekozen dansschijven en dat zonder dat er pintjes of andere zaken achterover geslagen moeten worden.
Beginnen de benen al te kriebelen? Schrijf je dan snel in voor onze aprileditie, vanaf 20u00 tot 22u30 op de zolder van de Pastory.
De plaatsjes zijn beperkt!
Concreet:
- Elke 1e vrijdag van de maand, 20u00 tot 22u30
- Inkom: vrije bijdrage (enkel cash!). Dit geld is puur om de locatie, dj’s en onkosten te dekken.
- Neem zelf een flesje water mee en schoenen die je niet buiten hebt gedragen als je niet op kousen wilt dansen.
- Jij bepaalt zelf mee welke muziek er die avond gedraaid wordt – laat je favoriete nummer achter in het inschrijvingsformulier. Alles mag en alles kan!
- Onze favorieten op dit moment zijn: Daddy lessons (Beyonce), Kill dem (Jamie XX), No man no cry (Jimmy Sax), 50 ways to leave your lover (Paul Simon), Beat it (Michael Jackson),…
Trekt deze muziek je niet aan? Dan is dit feestje waarschijnlijk niets voor jou 🙂
Veilige plek
(ENG BELOW) We willen graag een safe space creëren waar iedereen kan opgaan in het ‘Danse Danse’.
Voor ons betekent een safe(r) space concreet:
- geen alcohol of andere drugs
- geen foto’s of filmpjes & geen gsm’s op de dansvloer
- dat iedereen kan dragen wat ie en bewegen hoe ie wil. Respecteer elkaars (bewegings)ruimte.
- Als je je niet aan deze voorwaarden houdt, zal je vriendelijk gevraagd worden te vertrekken.
Voel je je op een bepaald moment toch niet veilig of voelt iets niet plezierig?
Dan kan je de avond zelf terecht bij een vooraf duidelijk aanspreekpunt.
Het ‘Danse Danse’ comité is niet verantwoordelijk voor gebeurlijke ongevallen en diefstal.

Out of the need for more dancing places than our own curtained living rooms, we thought of organising some ourselves.
Danse Danse wants to give everyone the opportunity to dance as if it were their own birthday party. A cozy place where you can dance to the songs of your choice at a reasonable hour, without having to drink beers or take other things.
Are your legs starting to itch yet? Register quickly for our April edition, from 8pm to 10:30 pm @ De Pastory, places are limited!

- 1st Friday of the month, 8pm – 10:30 pm
- Free contribution (cash only!). This money is purely to cover the location, DJs and expenses.
- Bring your own bottle of water.
- You decide which music will be played that evening – leave your favorite song in the registration form. Everything is allowed and everything is possible!

Safe(r) space
We want everyone who joins the dancefloor to feel safe (and be aware of the fact that if they don’t follow these agreements, they will be asked to leave the dancefloor).
For us, a safe(r) space means:
- no alcohol or other drugs
- no photographs or videos & no mobile phones on the dancefloor
- everyone can wear what they want and move the way they want. Respect each others (moving)space.
- If you don’t feel safe at any moment during the event, you can speak to a dedicated and clearly recognizable ‘space holder’.
The ‘Danse Danse’ committee is not responsible for possible accidents nor theft.
